GoAnywhere [GoA] Submission Requirements
For files to be properly transmitted between the campus locations and the PCSSC GoAnywhere (GoA) server at UC Berkeley, files must meet certain naming convention standards and must also be encrypted using PGP or GPG file encryption. Examples of file names before and after encryption are shown below. It is important to make sure that files are encryped before placing it on the GoA server at the campus location. Please do not rename file after it has been encrypted because once decrypted, the name reverts to the original file name which is problematic for processing.
All production files must be placed only on the production server. However, if campus is involved in testing new system implementations with UCOP, the QA server should be leveraged rather than the production server.
